I would like to give my personal recommendation to Samantha for all her services. Her Doula services included, massage therapy, birthing classes, doula and hospital edicate. Both my wife Bianca and I had the privilege of having her assistance though the birthing process. Samantha’s full support was given pre, post, and especially during the birth of our son Rafael.
Samantha’s services began a few weeks prior to Bianca giving birth, when she personally visited our home. She explained the birthing process and demonstrated various exercises and positioning postures that may help during the pregnancy.
When the time came to deliver, Samantha had actually arrived at the hospital before my wife and I did. She was fully prepared for any type of situation that may have occurred. She was fully supportive, well educated, and very experienced in the process of birth. She understood exactly what was occurring and what actions to take for the situation. Various therapeutic massages and position changes were used as the contractions began to grow stronger. When it was time to deliver her support and attention was demonstrated to both the doctor as well as Bianca and to the arriving child. The results in Samantha’s actions allowed my wife to have a natural birth with no medication and no complications.
Samantha’s services were far beyond the expectations of a Doula. Through the process we felt as if we had a friend, a nurse, massage therapist, and a subject matter expert at all times. Her availability to us had no limits. Samantha’s services were even given after the birth with various massages and kinesio tapeing therapy to help with post birth aches and pains. We would recommend Samantha to anyone seeking any of her services.
